***Mackay locksmiths Chester Road Sunderland attends an increased number of local emergency jobs due to burglaries***

Mackays locksmiths has been called to attend an increased number of emergency jobs due to burglaries throughout Sunderland over the past few months.

Thieves appear to be identifying households with high end vehicles, use a blow tourch at the rear of the property to gain access via burning the lock within any UPVC or composite door and then steal the car key/fob.

Thieves do not appear to be scaning car keys but Mackay locksmiths would recommend not leaving any keys/fob within 2 to 3 meters (about 6 to 10 feet) of any external door or window at night. Instead place in a Faraday pouch which is a signal-blocking metal box, or keep in a deep interior room far away from your front door so the relay device is unable to capture a signal.

Police have also advised residents to install anti-snap locks to any UPVC or composite door to provide additional security and a greater deterrent for any attempted burglary.

Mackay locksmiths Chester Road Sunderland only installs anti-snap, high security locks which are also anti-pick, anti-drill and come with 5 keys.

Further measures can be taken for additional security so please contact Mackay Locksmiths if you would like more information....................... or in any emergency 24/7!!!!!!!!!!!
